CityCube is a Chinese social networking community, specifically designed to facilitate members with similar hometowns, schools, and interests to find each other. Each new member enters their key data, including their current city of residence. CityCube then automatically generates user groups ("Cubes"), such as:
"Shanghainese living in Beijing"
"Qinghua graduates living in Shenzhen"
Members can then find each other based on these Cubes, usually to arrange offline activities or online exchange of information.
CityCube uses the latest internet technology to provide maximum user value. Members can easily update their activities and interests, while monitoring other members' actions and Cube updates. By collecting and combining user data, CityCube can segment its members to deliver targeted marketing messages. CityCube is currently designing a mobile service to extend user value.
